I used pitiful tools such as scissors, an exacto knife, fine grain sand paper, the dull kitchen knife that came with the apartment.

Pre-strings.

Post-strings!

Cork-bridge!

Miserably planned tuning knobs!

Miserably-planned tail-piece-ish-thing from the inside.

Banjo, yeah! It sounds horrible right now, but hopefully the strings will settle themselves out in a day or two and hopefully the neck will not snap in two...

It feels good to make things.
